About the Program

The Apple iPad has been selected as the most appropriate device for 1-to-1 Information Communication Technology (ICT) access at West Moreton Anglican College for students.  Its compact design, long battery life, ease of use and functionality make it an ideal tool to facilitate learning in an information-rich environment.  iPads will complement our current provision of specialist computers (i.e. computers deployed in classrooms for specific uses that require particular hardware / software).

In 2012, Year 11 and 12 students will receive an iPad package purchased by the College using funding from the Australian Government’s Digital Education Revolution programme.

At the end of the school year students will return the iPad. The iPad remains school property.

Student iPad Package includes:

  • Apple iPad – 16GB WiFi model
  • Apple iPad Protective Case
  • Transparent Screen Protector

iPad Accessories

There are many accessories available to support the use of the iPad. These accessories can be purchased from a variety of retail outlets including the Apple Store. Students are welcome to purchase (at their own cost) accessories to support their personal use of the iPad.
